Sunday School

Join us for Sunday School at 9:30 am!

At St. John’s we offer Sunday School for our youth between our 8:30 and 10:30 services. The caring teachers in our Sunday School help the young people of our church know that God loves and cares for them by helping them understand
how God’s love is revealed in the stories of the Bible Our Sunday School is led by our Superintendent, Gloria Koehler, and this year we have four Sunday School classes: Our Nursery class for pre-kindergarteners and kindergarteners,
taught by Ginny Heller; a class for first and second graders, taught by Jennifer Chimonik; a class for third and fourth graders, taught by Ann Vresk; and a fifth and sixth grade class taught by Tammy Pammer. Our Sunday School
classes for the Gospel Light curriculum.

Confirmation

Confirmation is the two-year process by which young people prepare for full membership in the church. It involves learning about God, about Christ, about the church and its ministries, and about themselves. Confirmation is
open to young people who are interested in becoming members of the church and will be entering the seventh grade in the fall of the year they enter the program. If you’re interested in learning more about confirmation at St.
John’s contact Pastor Mollica.

Cub Scouts

St. John’s is proud to sponsor Cub Scout Pack 317, which provides a wealth of educational, civic, service, and personal development opportunities (and the chance for lots of fun) for boys from first through fifth grade. Pack
317 meets during the school year at Farmersville Elementary School (the Pack is too big to fit here at church). To find our more about Cub Scouts generally, visit www.scouting.org/scoutsource/CubScouts. To find out more Pack

Boy Scouts

Once kids are too old for Cub Scouts, St. John’s also sponsors Boy Scout Troop 317 for boys from ages ten through eighteen.  Troop 317 provides boys with endless opportunities for personal growth and development, to serve
others and their communities, and to have a great time. During the school year Troop 317 meets right here at church on Tuesday evenings beginning at 7:00 pm. To find out more about Troop 317 you can simply come to any meeting
on Tuesday evening. To find out more about Boy Scouts in general, click below.

Venturing Crew

St. John’s also sponsors Venturing Crew 317, and BSA group open to both young men and women ages fourteen through twenty-one. Like all Venturing Crews, St. John’s Crew 317 focuses on helping young men and women in four areas:
adventure, leadership, personal growth and service—and yes, they also have a great time outdoors! Our Venturing Crew 317 meets with our Boy Scouts on Tuesdays at 7:00 right here at St. John’s during the school year. To
